Got my hands on a gratis Garmin Zumo 396LMT-S Motorcycle GPS, so decided to replace the TripMaster (which on mine was still fully functioning!) Anyway, I used my 3D printer to make up a bracket to mount the Garmin on the original tripmaster mounts. I have the 3D models if anyone wants to...

Right, im looking for some ideas to mount rear pegs on my dommie project. Would prefer them to be removable, as they will only be fitted if i take my son for a ride. See photo below. The only idea i could think of, is two weld two nuts on the inside of the curved upright, so i could then bolt...

Part number is 45210-MY1-006 or 45210-MAY-006 for XRV750 1999. I believe the same part is on the Transalps. This is the black plate that mounts the Left caliper to the fork leg. Like a complete idiot, I rode off with my disc lock still on, which broke the lower part of the plate when it made...

Hi i tried this today, Im not sure if it works on the road but it sits almost the same as my AT did. I fitted the swingarm from my 2000 AT onto my XL600v frame, The AT shock was too long but i tried the shock from a 650 TA and it slid straight in. It does look slightly lower than a pic of an AT...

I have got the CB750A sorted and have done a few miles on it now the weather has improved. Its different, obviously with the 2 speed and torque converter transmission, most definitely not a racer, but they are used for drag racing in US slightly, VERY modified! Great for bumbling along the...

So how do you go about choosing a proper size fuse? I received my new 3 circuit setup and would like to get it installed now. One line is going to my gps and another to the rear trunk. is there a rule of thumb to use for figuring things out? Also for the switched circuits can I use a rear turn...

Hi all. Anyone needs a touring screen to muck about / fix buffeting / experiment to find a good way to mount accessories? I got a screen to play with to get the airflow right, but it is NOT for an RD07A. [RD07, I think] So no use to me... I believe that it is one of these: Powerbronze...

Hi all, I hope you're all keeping well! Clearly I have too much time on my hands and too many ideas floating around in my head as my RD04 is undergoing further surgery... As a result, I am going to be selling my Boano fairing and headlight kit. From memory, these are £600+ new, so hopefully...

Hello mates, would anyone here be able to tell me if there are significant, if any, differences of the rear end on the Vara before and after the 2003 models? I would really love to mount Givi V35's, but they only offer racks for the 2003+ models. If I don't have to modify the original rack...

Hi, I have 2 RD04's and want to overhaul one completely (and for now use the 2th one as spare parts. maybe I can still put it to service if I don't have to strip it down too much.the thread of a spark plug is broken anyway :/) Purpose is to have a complete "new" AT which I can use for daily...

Just completed a DIY install of some auxiliary lights. Some £11 Chinese specials were recommended on another bike forum. They came in 3 days from European stock. Great build quality - will see how long they last ... They come in two versions; Flood or Spot. I bought the Flood version...

Hi Folks Re: RD07A (1998 W Vin No) Front Brakes Upgrade! Been quite a while since my last post and, I dare to raise this old chestnut again! BTW, I have searched the forum but, I'm hoping there may be more recent research and actual upgrades that someone may be kind enough to advise on. Last...

Two years ago I had to remove my original exhaust from my RD03 because it was so badly corroded internally, I fitted a GPR Exhaust temporally until I could get my original restored. In Rostov, Russia I met a custom bike & exhaust builder called Pasha, i sent the exhaust to him and 2 months...

Hi, failed the MOT yesterday  due to uneven braking at the front. I can feel that the braking is uneven (as you apply slight pressure to come to a stop it feels like the disc is warped) but didn't really feel it was an issue. The MOT man did... So...what to do? I removed both discs and...
