As the title suggests, I am toying with the idea of altering my Varadero by fitting a different petrol tank from a VTR, has anyone done this or used a tank from a different bike? If so how difficult and what was required? All replies welcome:thumbup:

Im just trying to find a petcock but struggling at the moment. The thread size looks to be 17mm x 1mm.
Would anybody be able to advise where to get one from in the UK please?
Hi Im building a bike from my 2000 AT and a 600v Transalp frame and wanted to know if anyone has managed to fit the petrol tank from an RDO7a onto a transalp. I think the frame on the transalp is wider so the tank sits higher??
Hi all, just got my AT delivered and noticed that the push button for the main/dip beam sticks in, have any of you had this? Is there an easy fix or is it a new switch, I tried a spray of penetration fluid but made no difference

I've started to notice a slight knocking on the right footpeg when in 4th gear. Maybe 2-4 knocks pr second. It's very weak or non-existant in lower gears. It goes away completely if I pull the clutch very lightly.
Anyone knows what this might be?
Alright lads i have a fmx and ther seems to be a petrol/oil leak comin from the spark plug or near the plug i have tightend the spark plug but i dont wanna do it too tight can any body shed any light on this for me?
Time to change the air filter.....so the tank has to come off. Does the tank need to be completely drained of fuel? Should it be syphoned? Or can it be drained from the pet cock? OR, can some fuel stay in the tank or will it leak out when I remove the lines?
