Right, im looking for some ideas to mount rear pegs on my dommie project. Would prefer them to be removable, as they will only be fitted if i take my son for a ride. See photo below. The only idea i could think of, is two weld two nuts on the inside of the curved upright, so i could then bolt...
I would like to change my rear shock ,preferably something with a little adjustment for passengers but its not a must have .
i was looking at suspension units and they are expensive so i was wondering if any of the more experienced among us could shed some light of what if anything is availlable...
Could anyone show a pic of the rear footpeg springs ? Mine for some untold reason are missing, i am reluctant to shell out for new pegs for the sake of a couple of springs but have no idea what they look like so cant start a search. Its an 89 model
Hi, this may have been covered but I see on ebay that a company do a pretty decent inlay for the speedo/dials for the RD04 anyone ever split these dials open to replace them? Could really do with swapping the KPH to MPH and the dials are faded pretty badly.
any advice would be greatly...
Pillion foot peg rubbers on my Dommie are perishing and falling apart, currently held on with cable ties.
Despite the fact I NEVER take a pillion, this has been bugging me so I bought new ones from David Silver.
Does anyone have experience/ top tips for replacing those? It looks like it...
I've started to notice a slight knocking on the right footpeg when in 4th gear. Maybe 2-4 knocks pr second. It's very weak or non-existant in lower gears. It goes away completely if I pull the clutch very lightly.
Anyone knows what this might be?
Any recommendations for off road type foot pegs? Many that I have seen are wider than the oem, and I fear these will interfere with my big foot and the shifter. When I added off road style pegs to my KLR650, I had to install an extended shifter to make shifting as comfortable as before.
My RD04 was pinched a while back. I got it back via the police which was a miracle.
The right pillion peg was snapped off, hopefull when the theives broke arms crashing.
I have just found myself a lovely pillion passenger, RD04 rear pegs are unavailable SH and I am ona tignh budget.
Right after finally getting round and fitting my jack up kit and getting my bro
To extend my side stand i'm after some lower footpegs.
Does anyone use them and can you buy them ?
My bro is quite happy to fabricate some lower pegs but does anyone know what needs doing to make these ?

Gear pedal pivot bolt sheered this morn, on the M60 - which was nice! I changed gear by hand and limped the last couple of miles
Anyway, Hunts had one and every bolt on the hanger cracked immediately making removal of the snapped stud a doddle. It literally turned itself out, drilling from...

Hi - after an "off" on Saturday my treasured AT needs a bit of fettling. It's mostly bolt on bits - screen, footpeg, mirrors etc however I have bent the front subframe that holds the lights and clicks etc.
Any one got a spare straight one for sale or tips on straightening the old one. I have...
Trying to replace these two parts after neighbour knocked over my AT while She was parked. The actual cylinder is fine its the mirror that's broken at the base and of course, it mounts onto the master cylinder. Had the foot peg pieces welded back together but its bent out of shape so is likely...
