Manchester United's (whoever they are) Paul Scholes has car stolen.
Just goes to further the theory that footballers are not the sharpest knives in the draw. Stiil, he should be able to afford another. Wonder if his insurers have stopped laughing yet? :D

Sent from my iPhone with a smile :)

I've decided that there are two qualities that one must rely on heavily as a motorcyclist: humour and humility. Especially when dealing with waterproofs.
Basically, because it is hard not to look like a total pillock, fighting a losing battle with one's over-trousers, standing in the road...
Guess which idiot didn't put the stand down properly or possibly at all on his RD04 this morning. Guess which pillock then dumped it on it's side against the kerb outside his flat.
For some reason I couldn't get an angle on it to pick it up myself and enlisted a nice passer-by to help pick it...

Just a quick hello to the forum. Haven't been here for ages due to rebuilding the house and the missus standing over me with an axe to get the work done.
What started off in the summer as a major house redecoration of a 150 year old house has in fact turned out to be a major rebuilding...
My speedo started to go a bit erratic today. I'm guessing the cable has come loose at one end after a particlularly vigorous de-salting.
Can someone confirm for me it goes into the gearbox and if so can you get at it without dismantling the bike. I have nowhere to work on it until after...
. . . when you park the bike and go for a wander?
More specifically, do you dump your lid(s) in the top box, fix them with the under-seat hooks, or lug them around with you? What about other stuff?
My rides out have tended to be non-stop, or petrol stop only, until the last couple of years...
