    Can anyone tell me if the RD04 and RD07 brake callipers are identical?, I'd like to use genuine Honda seals, pistons and pins when refurbing my RD04 brakes but David silver doesn't list anything pre 1993 :thumbup:

    What's the best chain riveting tool available to use and which is not so costly? There are quite a few on ebay and want to know which design is best to flare the pins. Also, any idea about the proper outside diameter of the flared stakes on a DID 525?

    If anyone has any thoughts on using red brake grease for caliper slider pins, I have always used copper grease in the past but it seems to go all sticky after a while plus I have been told it is not good for the rubber sleeves. Any advice, comments, abuse etc? :icon_smile: Andy.

    Today I took the opportunity to remove and grease the caliper pins on my AT for the first time. Given all the tales of seized pins and pin 'plugs' I was expecting a long, protracted job. Not so. All cleaned, greased and replaced inside 20 minutes. Feeling lucky! :headbang:
