I am doing a lot of off-road with my Africa (RD07) and in standing position i can't reach the rear brake pedal. So i am looking for a foot brake lever extension. Any suggestions? Do you think this do? https://rover.ebay.com/rover/0/0/0?mpre=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.ebay.com%2Fulk%2Fitm%2F192622018951

Arrrggghhh Not started it for a few weeks, had become more and more difficult to start cold, and now - won't start at all Had lost interest in it lately, now even more so So, after trying to start for a while, (turns over fine), checked spark - nothing I have in the last year or so replaced...

Hi, I intend blanking off the chokes on my AT. Will I remove the chokes completely, or fix them permanently in the open position? If I remove them, what will I use to cap the opening? Regards, Pat F.

Hi, as anyone else had problems with the TA700 crankshaft position censor (CKP CENSOR) where the bike does not start, the FI light gives the 1 long & 9 short flashes (ckp censor fault) but after 3 or 4 attempts the bike will start !!! great bike but all these tempremental censors let it down...

Putting casing back on after blasting + powder coating. Kept all bolts in position through a piece of cardboard. One of the 3 long bolts that holds the outside cover of the stater / pick-up cover on has a copper washer on it. I cannot remember putting it on the bolt, but must have done !! Does...

Hi I have got most things working following my rebuild. The only niggling thing I seem to be left with is that the engine will turn over and start when the start button switch is in the off position as well as the on position. I must have a wire crossed over somewhere, but I have checked...

A lovely 650 on an 02 plate with all the luggage and a strange oiler (not Scott). Am a little alarmed at the seating position tho. I think i will be forming a squeeky voice and a sorebum in no time! Are there resolutions to this issue?

Ok guys tiny moan with my xl600v seating position. May just be me but when in the saddle I feel that I have to keep shuffling back up the seat. Also the slight forward sliding puts pressure on my old thumbs. I know I'm a wuss. Now my question is are there any after market seats with slight...

Hello everyone , the names chris and I've just picked it up today and traded in my old zzr1100 for it , loving the 'old man ' riding position and I can see it staying with me for a long time , had a quick scan through some posts for info already and I'm sure I will be pestering soon about...

The Vigor has a throttle position sensor. Any ideas why? It doesn't seem to make any difference whether it's connected or not. Since the NX doesn't have one I assume it's just something to do with emissions. Anybody actually know what the CDI does with the signal?

So here's the thing..my RHS (driver's side :p) mirror seems to be set up for someone who's about 5'4" (I need to duck right down in order to use it) and I can't seem to get it into a better position. Is there a trick or technique that can be used in order to angle it up? The mirror rotates but...

I just spent the day messing around with the rear end of my project swinging hammers ,skinning knuckles etc:clown::clown::clown: I am curious as to how much I should kick the back end up before it gets welded into position. The first picture shows how it looks now, sort of parallel to the...

Hi all! Clutch lever freeplay at the ball-end of lever must be between 10-20mm. Two questions: 1) Is this distance measured with steering head in centre position, pointing to right (increase in free play) or point to left (decrease in free play)? 2) Is this distance measure when engine has...

Having just purchased a TA700 for my wife, I would never have dreamed of buying one myself but what a pleasure it is to ride. Very relaxed riding position, engine..plenty of torque , high up riding position. I now find myself taking it for a ride quite often and ask myself why did Honda stop...

Hi all, I'm in he process of developing a gear position indicator. Yes there are a few designs out there using PIC micro-controllers, source code, and all sorts of wizardry, and I'll be following the same path, BUT, I'll also develop one that does the same job, using simple digital gates without...
