Okay. I'm a tad worried. I'm on the final leg of my Western Isles trip and have covered about 800 miles so far. Along the way, I have been checking the oil. Usual pita xr oil levels. Running the bike on idle for about 5 minutes, shutting off and immediately checking. Always low level so I've...

Putting the head cover back on and the manual says to "pour engine oil into the oil pocket in the cylinder head".
I would if I knew where the oil pocket was, and how much oil to pour in...Is it the space around the cam bearings? Seems to be from the picture in the manual.
Can anyone help please?
