  1. power source for sat nav - XL700

    Transalp
I've finally succumbed to a sat nav and am looking at how to wire it into my trusty Transalp (XL700VA). I'm sure that somewhere on this forum I've seen that there is a spare connector block in the front cowl that can be used as a power source - but can't for the life of me find it now! Any...

  3. Help needed fitting heated grips (TA 700)

    Transalp
I am about to fit some heated grips to a TA 700. So I need to find an 'ignition controlled' live power source. Can anyone tell me where I can find one? It needs to be ignition controlled (ie not direct to battery) as if the grips are left on with the ignition off, they will drain the battery.

Hi all Hope you can help with this one - I have removed the 10 year old, non-working Honda heated grips off the 'alp. Lots of sticky gooey mess now removed. They were powered from a source in the engine cut-out switch which went to an in-line fuse. Earth was from the handle bar clamp. I...
