Hi guys so I have slighlty bigger jets on my rd07a and the produro pipe (love the vtwin sound with that pipe )
Anyway I have the standard 45 tooth sproket on the rear and the oem one infront, got a long trip planned and need to economise on fuel so whats the best crusing RPM's for this that...
The Sumo now looks fairly like I want it to, but the engine etc is standard, the end can a lazer produro so I want to do what little I can to help it breath a bit better by junking the current airbox and fitting a pair of foam/cone/KnN filters etc.
Has anybody done this? What...
Anyone got any experience of these? Are they any/much louder than the standard can? I want quiet please! :)
About a year ago I bought a 'road legal' GPR can and it's too fekin loud, even with the baffle and cone thingie in. When I'm on early shift the neighbours must hate it.
So I'm looking...
I've been trying to buy a street-legal Laser Pro-duro silencer but all the usual places, M&P, The Fast One, Busters etc, all say about 2 to 4 weeks delivery. Anybody know of a retailer who has one in stock?
My loft is still home to 2 Laser ProDuro end cans (1 legal and 1 race) plus the connection piece to the standard Transalp downpipes. All in great nick. It's been 10 years and it doesn't look like I'll be getting another Transalp! £70 but you'd have to collect from Milton Keynes.
(Hope I put this thread at the right spot)
Just bought a brand new Laser Produro and I will try and fit it on my AT650. (115£, brand new not even unwrapped = a real steal in this country)
The unit is the "Not for road use" and was intended to fit a Kawasaki KLR650.
Question 1: Were...
Just treated myself to a Road Legal Pro-Duro exhaust from M&P. Reduced from £249.00 down to £179.00 anyone else interested? I assume it's because they've just changed the design. Luckily I prefer the old design, much neater and more compact.
I have at present got a K&N filter fitted and am thinking of fitting a Laser Pro-Duro exhaust on my XL600. Can the bike be retuned using the existing needles or do I have to get a Stage 1 DynoJet kit as well. I was intending having the bike rolling road tested.
What difference can I expect on my...
Just a quick couple of observations about this exhaust. When I bought the bike a couple of months ago, it had the standard can fitted, but came with a Produro can. Due to circumstances far too dull to go into here, I haven't had chance to fit the Laser until this weekend, and what a difference...
Ok, any of you guys know if the Laser pro-duro for a TA will fit/ work with my RD03 650cc AT, it's a slightly different model number, but I have a big hammer and can make most things fit with the help of a stainless steel fabrication company I know
Well after givin g it some thought I have decided to sell the Laser end can.
I am happy with the Honda system for now so it will have an add in the for sale section. I have just had it profesionaly polished and it is probably better now than when new.
It is the road legal one and I think you can...
