Hi everyone, I've recently discovered a rattle from the clutch cover on my 93 rd07. It happens when the clutch is pulled in. I'm thinking that it's the release bearing, wondering if anyone had any other ideas? Thanks Stewart Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk

Hello everyone, After 24 years finally achieved my bucket list motorcycle. It has and always been to own an Africa Twin. So, I finally picked one up albeit not the exact one I wanted but... I've got one finally. The "dealer" said it was a 2000. I was highly skeptical, especially when I pulled...
  5. Varadero
Hi all, After fitting a new engine I now have a problem with the temperature gauge, it's stays on 1 bar. The engine runs 100%, the water pump and thermostat are fine. I have a spare temperature senser so I pulled off the wire from the bikes sensor and plugged in the spare one and put it in a...

Hello All, longtime lurker first time posting. Had my Transalp since Christmas, just taken my first ever road trip to Spain, pulled in to Salamanca and after parking up look what was next to me. I'm still slowly rebuilding my bike. Luckily I decided to give the airbox a wipe over with a rag and saw that the tubes have perished and come away from the main body. The one that looks worse, I pulled to make sure I wasn't imagining things. I figured if it's actually fine it won't tear, and...

Any of you lot ever been pulled for standing up on the pegs whilst negotiating bumpy bits of public road ? Tomorrow, I have to go see a Maltese cop, that saw me standing on the pegs as I was going over an undulating stretch of Maltese public tarmac.

Right, changed the clutch on the AT a few weeks ago & went well worked fine. It has now developed a rattle when the clutch is pulled in is there a bearing that will cause this?

Ok so with a mechanic I pulled my slipping clutch apart and found it only had 7 friction plates instead of 8. I got a set of 8 friction plates but here in Belgrade (I'm on the road) no one can supply the smooth plates of which I only have 6 instead of 7. So I now have a clutch with two friction...

Was hammering along this deserted stretch of road early this morning on the way to Skye in my trusty Vectra ;) Turned off before Lochcarron on the top road to Kyle. Road absolutely deserted, think I only saw about three cars since Garve, came across this well laden bike with an ABR sticker on...
  14. Dominator / FMX
Hi, I just bought my first Dominator, 1994 in pretty good nic but has been kept outside and not run for a bit. After charging the battery it fires up but with the clutch pulled and put in first it stalls. Dont know if the clutch has stuck or what. If I roll it down hill in first will it loosen...

The brake light does not work on the handlebar lever. There's power to it and when that is connected there's power to the other connector when the lever is pulled in, so the switch is working. Any ide where the wire goes after that so I can look in the obvious places first?

Was thrashing my little works van along this road.( was a little colder than when these pics were taken ) Forgot that they don't grit the Quirang, hit black ice :( Guess who ended up in the ditch ??? Had to clamber out the passenger door, no major damage to the van, at least nothing that...

Does anyone know if a 1986 xl600 head will fit an nx650? They use the same rockers, same bore, not sure about cam and valves though. I've just pulled my dommie down for a spruce up and it has the nasty cracks between exhaust valves and plug hole:crybaby:
