Has anyone tried one yet?? if so please post your thoughts as to fit and function.

Planning on flushing the coolant, can’t make out if I should use OAT (silicate free, red colour) or IAT.
The bike has green stuff in it now, but I believe silicates ruin the water pumps on some bikes. Anyone know what I need to use, my manual doesn’t say anything helpful on the matter...
I recently noticed a coolant leak coming from the inspection hole on the water pump.
About a teaspoon of coolant everyday. Discovered the leak after cleaning some engine areas, maybe it was already leaking for some time, not being noticeable because the hole was covered with grease.
Hello and happy holidays.
I am interested in learning of the age or mileage any members may have experienced a water pump failure on their AT. I searched the forum and learned water pumps are not frequently discussed. My 1990 RD04 AT with 78k km is being updated for a long...
Just wondering, has anybody thought about fitting a new oil pump as part of a high mileage service?
The top end seems to be the part that lets go first on these engines and since it depends on oil pressure and flow to survive I was thinking how would it be if the oil pump was replaced at say...

Ok, another hour, another mystery.
The original fuel pump on my RD03 works just fine when I connect it directly to the battery. It successfully pumps fuel right into the carbs just like it should. Nice!
But when I plug it into the wiring harness, it does not work. What could keep the pump from...
Hi there all,
Since my family has doubled recently (2nd bike ;)) I am considering the purchase of a proper bike jack. I am looking for something with the following characteristics

I did have a quick look through the posts before asking this, but didn't find anything.
I know AT's have a rep for the fuel pumps packing up, and I know the popular replacement is a Facet.
I keep seeing these ' repair kits ' for sale, something to do with the points iirc.
Is that an...
What's the most you've been able to squeeze into a 650 fuel tank ?
I've managed to get more than the 19.3 litres in the past that the tank is supposed hold but today whilst chugging on fumes I put 20 litres in at a Shell station, the cashier seemed a bit upset when I suggested their pumps...
Hi... this may be of interest to some:
