Hi new to this forum, and suffering from ducks disease i want to lower my 650 ta been told sv650 curvy rear shock will fit,and is 10 mm shorter, any confirm od debunk this please.
I'm thinking of buying a YSS to replace the very tired original shock.
I bought one for my 750AT and it jacked the rear up by 3". Nice shock but the seat is high now.
Is the Transalp YSS the same deal ?
Morning all,
Does anyone know the standard spring rate for the rear shock?
Or has anyone fitted an aftermarket shock and know what the spring rate is for their set-up?
Thanks

Hi my Honda FMX 650 needs a new rear shock. Original parts are mental prices.
Are there any alternatives out there?
Or had any one got one they want to part with?
Cheers.

Hi,
I have a RD07, completely original and in good shape, only some minor cosmetic issues.

I've broken 2 bikes for my project and basically used the engine, swingarm, electrics and wheels from each one, so have quite a few parts spare if anyone is interested? One came with a new hagon rear shock too!
Howzit from SA! Im on my second Dominator rebuild - this time a '95 Italian built model.
The rear shock (stock) seems fine, but the spring was crap. The length was well within spec, so I sent it off to be re-tempered. I did this before with my last Dommie, and it worked a treat.
Now - when...
