refitting

    Need to temporary refit the engine back into the frame of my Dommie, so i can finish off custom subframe and exhaust mounts etc. ;Anybody got any tips on the easiest way of doing this ;I better eat some Wheatabix because i found it heavy to lift out

    Hi All, Now some would say you dont need brakes, good road sense and engine braking....ye right. My front brakes finally bit the dust or more correctly bit the disks and stayed there. they seized on. Not good when trying to go round a corner with you brakes on. SO I stripped them down last...

    I cannot get these things to locate in to the rubber ducts fitted to the cylinder heads......I've put my whole weight on them and still no joy....:( The rubber seems quite stiff but I don't know if that's the reason....I greased round the edges. I remember they were pretty hard to get off...

    The front right caliper carrier has been grinding away at the rotor. This is because when the tyre was changed, the right fork was not pushed hard up against the axle stub when the locking bolts were tightened. As a result the calliper was about 5mm too far out...trying to claim under dealer...
