I’ve had a number of bikes, big, small etc and I’ve never had a bike as hard to put on the main stand as the 700.
ive strained my shoulder.
strained my foot.
Airhead Beamers, heavier bikes... easier.
sports bikes with main stands.... easier.
650 Trannie..... don’t remember this being hard...
my 600 TA will roll forwards and allow the sidestand to fold up on the slightest of downhill slopes,
should the stand lock in place somehow?
or do I just have to remember to park her in gear?
I am looking for a "do it all" bike, to replace the Transalp (London ULEZ has kiboshed it's use) and the R1200RT.
I am looking at the Vstrom 650, the Tracer 700 or the NC750X
I have ridden the NC750X recently and it was good. I rode the VStrom a while back, but can't remember anything about...

I'm Marco from Belgium. I have an RD04 from 1990. It's a great bike, but has had some bad owners that didn't maintain it. :(
I have replaced the rubber inlet seals, valve cover seals, fuel hoses, blablabla... =)
Now i am left with one part: a screw, a tiny washer and something on...
Sold to Shrewsbury Honda about 1994/5, I traded it in against a newer Transalp, can’t even remember the reg no and this is the only photo that survives. Any body on here buy it ? I regret to this day selling it, if only we knew then what we know now.
Anyone know where the handle to help put a 1994 transalp 600 on the centre stand actually attaches to?
If I had the handle here id figure it out,but I remember seeing a TA with one before but never paid an attention to how effective it was or where it bolted on as it was before I bought the...
Putting casing back on after blasting + powder coating. Kept all bolts in position through a piece of cardboard. One of the 3 long bolts that holds the outside cover of the stater / pick-up cover on has a copper washer on it. I cannot remember putting it on the bolt, but must have done !! Does...

I just bought an Arrow Paris Dakar exhaust for my RD04, but when trying to mount it, I found that I can´t fit it, as long as I have my luggage rack on - and I don´t remember which brand it is... So, guys and dolls, may I ask for your recommended...
Happily cruising at 75 today wondering how many rpms I'm doing. Haven't had a rev counter for a while and can't remember what it used to be, anyone know roughly how many rpms a RD03 would be doing at say 60, 70 and 80 in 5th?
My girlfriend an me rode around the world with two XL700VA.
Honda does not sponsor us or even give us a discount on anything. Thereby this is completey honest: these bikes are undestroyable and they can suffer a lot.
We rode 183,475 Km (app. 110k miles) and we had nearly no problems except...
