Happy Riding Weather fellas! Got a stern reminder of the importance of locking up my AT at all times when some douchebag tried to steal it while parked outside a pub last week. Just cost me a new ignition switch in the end as they jammed a screw in it and it broke off but replacing it meant...

Whilst the sunshine says spring is coming, here's a reminder of the warmer days ahead. Taken on the moors overlooking Niarbyl Bay on the West Coast of the Isle of Man during the Manx Grand Prix in August 2014... If you haven't ridden off road on the Island yet, I highly recommend it.... Stuart

Just a little reminder that our National get together is as usual the second weekend of September . The details you will find over on the "Big Trailie" website where most social events get discussed. The reason why its being discussed on "BT" is cause this has turned into a mainly Tech info site...
  5. Austin's Adventures
I am struggling to find the time and energy to organise the two events I had said I would do this year. So canvassing for some views..... Galloway. Always a good event with a tried and tested formula. I have not contacted the forestry or the camp site yet but was thinking about the first...

After a few of you were crash-test dummies for my early phone app. I have made a lot of modifications and I think it is well worth having a go using it now. There were some gremlins with the download speed of the Android version (sorry to Ian Porter, who suffered the most) but I think that has...

Hi all, here's a link to a post I put up on ABR regarding the front discs on my Africa twin, just a wee reminder to all to check their brakes occasionally! Fitting new tyre, noticed dangerous brakes

Having left the AT in the garage a while it suffered from a seized choke plunger. The corrosion was in the rear cylinder carb. Luckily it did come out with a sharp yank. Slipped on Rugged Roads alloy replacement guides and lubed up nicely all ok again. The point being when you service your bike...
  11. Dominator / FMX
just thought I'd remind people the importance of keeping the bike upright rather than on it's sidestand when doing the 5 min idle beforehand . I'd forgotten and after doing a recent oil change became worried I'd blocked a pipe ( after cleaning the screen ) as the 2litres of oil wasn't...

Just took my little baby for its MOT (passed with flying colours), some interesting changes I wasn't aware of. The new MOT certificates are now printed on plain white paper (paper now supplied from the test centre). On the new certificate you are now given a message "Want a reminder? Text MOT No...

I'm thinking about it and had a look at the subscription link and found out that it was £12, no problem with that However I was confused/unsure about the automatic recurring renewal, in 12 months So if I pay by PP, will another £12 be automatically taken in 12 month's time, without asking me...

I have TA700 its 4000mile service today and in addition to oil change, I also took out front pads to clean caliper housing. PS the clutch/brake cleaner from LIDL is is very good for the price. Anyway for anyone never done this with combined brakes, it is normal (for me anyway) to push the pads...
