So I’m rebuilding a ‘89 XRV650 and I want to paint the engine. The side cases I removed and I want them to be powdercoated but I’m in doubt about the colour. Powdercoat can be done in most RAL colours. Anyone ever done this and know which colour comes closest to the original?

How is the rear brake pedal in 650 removed? Do I just slacken the bolt at number 13 and pull the lever off?

I have removed my fuel tap off my CG125 tank, and the in the hole where the fuel tap goes, there seems to be a plastic insert (looks like a tube). Can this be removed? Need to get everything removed before i flush out tank.

I really love the looks of the AT, but to me the rear light and plastic protector don't do the bike justice. So I relocated the rear light to sit flush with the fairing and removed the plastic protector (I know, not practical, but hey, stripe of dirt on the back adds to my image...) Original...

Good evening I'm in the process of changing the front sprocket on my RD07a. I removed the sprocket cover and then the old sprocket. I was merrily cleaning all the old crud away before fitting the new one when this little fella dropped out. I have no idea where it goes so any help would be...

After doing a bit of research, and removing the actual bearings im a little confused. Found on forums that linkage bearings were TA1720Z (O.D 24mm, I'D 17mm, Width 20mm) The ones i removed from bike were BM172417-1 (O.D 24mm, I.D 17mm, Width 17mm) Any idea which is the correct bearing to go...

If anyone is interested in purchasing a Fuel exhaust for their xrv750 then pm me. If there is enough interest then Fuel Exhausts will make a batch for us, they are not going to be releasing as an 'off the shelf' product so let me know. I personally had one on my Transalp and it was a good...

Hello everyone, I'm having a difficult time removing my 350's engine. I've followed the manual and have removed everything and I've even removed all the engine mounts. However, when I try to remove the lower left engine bolt it doesn't have enough room to come out before it hits the frame...

Hi I have just stripped my transalp down and had the frame, swingarm and wheels powder coated. I will be starting to put it all back together soon. The engine was running 'ok' before I removed it, but while its out what (easy-ish) jobs should I be considering? Its done about 41,000 km Cheers

I am curious. When I removed my center stand before the restoration, I didn't have these rubber o-rings. It seems my center stand has a little side-to-side play. I bought two from my ,ocal hardare store and they are smaller. They do fit the two sleeves/ pivots. Where do these o-rings go? I think...

Hello, I changed my air filter last night to a new K&N one (old one was grubby!) When removing the tank, I removed all of the hoses / fuel sensor cable. Where the smallest tube on the right side of the bike attached, I had fuel coming out. Is this normal? I was sure that no fuel would come out...
