A week doesn't go by when I don't end up spending money on the bike! It seems that I may have bent my bars a little bit in an off-road tumble as my hand guards now hit the screen on one side when going full lock.
I've been looking at new bars and am struggling to work out what is...
Does anyone have a solution to the handlebar height on the RDo2 ? I find mine very low and difficult to use especially when standing on the pegs, i have loosened them and pushed them up a little which is slightly better but causes the engine to race slightly on full lock so not ideal. I like the...
I know this has been asked before - but a looong time ago. So was wondering what the closest match to the original handlebars (RD07a) is these days? Seems the Renthals Dakar High are somewhat lower, which is not something I'm interested in.

I have an RD04 with slightly twisted handlebars and wondered what was the best replacement bars (to replace as standard) ?
I'm assuming something like RENTHALS, but which model and spec. ?...........
.......and then where best to get them from ?..................
first decent ride on the CRF and although its a dream compared to the Husky i do need to raise the bars a touch. I have renthals std on at the moment but i could do with a piont in the right direction??? im 6'4''
The standard AT bars have a screw fitting that the GS handguards screw straight into.
The Renthals I got today are just plain tube.
Anyone else had this problem? Heard you can get expanding fit things to go in but not sure what they are called or where to get them.
Would anyone be able to post up a link to where I can buy some Renthals online?
The Renthal 'Fit My Bike' page just has a mass of 'N/A's and 'You need to fit Renthal 11/8" handlebar clamps or multi-piece triple top clamps'.
New job means no time to look...
I want to put some Renthal handlebars on my 600V but not sure which ones to choose. I would like them to be as close as the original bars as possible, don't mind a little higher but definitely not lower.
Any info greatly received,
I am thinking of changing the bars to renthal bars, hhas anyone got an idea of what size and thickness. Is there any way to get rid of that rubber damping shite as well, might be nice on a long journey, but I like it tight (ooooer!)
