    Dominator / FMX
As above, somebody asked me if they will go... I said yes. But, a quick search reveals the wheel offset is different.. But that shouldn't affect the forks... Are there any other differences? Calliper mount maybe?

How your day can change!!! It was such a beautiful day on the Sussex coast today, and even though I've been DIY'ing most of the day I had that "spring is in the air feeling"! I decided I'd go for a little rideypoo, and check the bike over, especially as I'm working in London tomorrow. So...

I dont normally get involved in political shenanigans, but this has got me a bit rattled ('compulsory' - another erosion of our/our childrens freedom), and was released low key in News of the world (but i found it on the internet) : By Ian Kirby, 12/04/2009 PM Gordon Brown intends to...
  10. total electrical failure; headlamp related???

Started the bike fine this morning, but when I turned the lights on, it died. No electrical power to anything at all. I immediately checked the main fuse but it looks OK, as do all other fuses. At the fuse box, there is 12V at the clock fuse; this is on the live feed to the ignition...
  11. CE armour for clothing; Rukka in particular

    Clothing
I've done a little bit of research on CE "armour" in bike clothing. It's interesting to see the marketing that's used, which is borderline fraudulent in many cases (with alleged incursions right over the border...) I'm sure we've all seem descriptions that say something like fitted with CE...
  12. Nature over nurture ?

    Transalp
I was just wondering exactly how much of a "beasting" the Transalp is able to cope with before it becomes too much of a risk to take on ? Researching the 'life story's of some bikes reveals some very hard use, admittedly, supported by regular servicing & replacement of broken/worn out...

  14. BSM exhausts - thumbs up

    Africa Twin
I had my new BSM exhaust delivered from David Silver yesterday, and first impressions are that it's well made, much better than a Laser ProDuro, for instance. It's slightly shorter and narrower than the OE item, and the silencer by itself is quite a bit lighter (surprise!). However, the...
