I installed the Ricor Intiminators about 4 years ago, together with their 5w oil. I can't know for sure, but I think the front is much stiffer now, than when I installed it. It really doesn't feel good on buHow often should the oil be changed when used with Intiminators?
I'm currently in Singapore, partly on vacation, partly to stock up on some needed spares for my RD07A, like tires and cables.
Having found almost all things I was looking for, I unexpectedly found a new Wilbers shock. Presumably a 640, but I forgot to take note, so not 100% sure.
I'm about to install the Intiminators, and I'm wondering exactly how precisely equal the new oil needs to be distributed in the 2 forks?
I don't have any fancy measuring tools available, just eyesight, I guess ...
How to proceed?
I'm trying to decide which way to go in terms of upgrading my AT's front end. I can get a decent set of USD forks for free but would need to get top yoke and triple clamps and then figure out a plan with the wheels. I'd expect all this to cost a pretty penny.

To complete the job I have to provide specifications for eye-to-eye length for the RD 03, 04 and 07 shock.
I need the measurement for fully extended and also fully compressed.
Compressed length can be...
Ricor may be starting to build their IAS shock for the AT.
I'll most likely do some testing for them.
To start, we need the standard rear spring rate for the RD04.
Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance and I'll keep you all updated on progress
I received the shock inserts, securely packaged in a block of foam and with easy to understand fitting instructions. I removed the front wheel and forks myself, but left the fitting of the inserts to Steve at Silverex Engineering in Braintree, the same man who did...
