Would anyone (preferably in the UK) have a straight headlamp/fairing sub frame they may be interested in selling? (Picture attached.)
Don't mind if it's rusty and in need of painting as long as it's not bent.
If so, please send me a message with how much you'd like for it posted to Surrey...
The last 3 holidays I’ve been on I wished I could have had my trusty nx650 with me as there is no restrictions to riding off road. I’m currently in Sal, Cape Verde and hired a quad bike and had loads of fun but it’s not the same as Pepe. I wish the UK was so accessible to use on a motorcycle, we...
I’ve just picked up a 1979 Xr250 which had been left outside without a spark plug for probably several years. The top end is very rusty, there’s a hole in base of barrel (outside into cam chain chamber) and also quite a bit of play in con rod.
These xr’s are not very common over here in...
On a recent trip to Wales my trusty 94 xr250 let me down.
Just before it stopped all the electrics stopped but it was still running.
Then it stopped, I've got spark and had some little fires but not enough to run. And some wierd back fires.
Its think it's a electrical problem
Just been doing a bit of work on the front of my bike. This involved moving the mudguard bridge. When I took it off I didn't notice which way round it was. The manual says it has an arrow telling you which way round it goes. Mine was too rusty to read any arrow!
Please could someone...
Does anyone have a solution to the handlebar height on the RDo2 ? I find mine very low and difficult to use especially when standing on the pegs, i have loosened them and pushed them up a little which is slightly better but causes the engine to race slightly on full lock so not ideal. I like the...
The first thing to say is that my Dommie is very much a winter hack, ridden in all weathers, rarely cleaned, not a concours show bike by any stretch... so it’s not a massive surprise to see some corrosion on an 18 year old bike. Question is: what to do about it!
The pic attached shows a hole in...
Has anyone had experience of registering an RD03 in the UK or any bike for that matter ?
I have recently moved back from France and I have brought my trusty steed with me, now im in the process of trudging through the paperwork...

Some folks may be interested to see the Ural chair which has recently been fitted to my trusty @, supplied & fitted by sidecar specialist Watsonian who fabricated a bespoke sub-frame which connects the Ural chassis to the bike's frame. Watsonian gave me some good tuition before we rode the 200...

I've finally succumbed to a sat nav and am looking at how to wire it into my trusty Transalp (XL700VA).
I'm sure that somewhere on this forum I've seen that there is a spare connector block in the front cowl that can be used as a power source - but can't for the life of me find it now!
Thank you for letting me join; this is my first post.
I have recently acquired an XRV 750. It belonged to a dear friend of mine who died recently.
The bike lived out on the street for a lot of its life so is rusty but it all works. Panels are cracked and the bolts have...
What are the options for replacement wheels?
The wheels on my 87 600 are starting to corrode. The spokes are very rusty and the rims are not that great either.
Second hand ones are pretty rare and even then you dont know exactly the condition of what you are getting if buying off ebay...

I am currently searching for new bushings and spacers (and bolts and seals) for the Pro Link rear suspension linkage, anyone know if someone are selling these parts?
Mine are very rusty and I am rebuilding the whole bike so I would like to get new parts to avoid future problems.
when I relocated from Switzerland back to the UK last Year I brought my trusty old Africa Twin with me.
Unfortunately some things changed and I simply have no time space and use for it any longer.
I never got around to get it MOT'd and registered over here, so it is still on a Swiss...
