As it says in the title, have two bikes, one fully kitted with satnav zumo 660, would like to use it on my AT. Anybody got the parts I need, for sale. Getting difficult to find them in the shops

Hi guys. My xr250 is set up for expedition use. It doesn't use a battery. I'm looking into satnav gps options. The problem being I can't power anything from the bike.
I have a small garmin bike unit which will last around 6 hours then need 8 hour charge. Not ideal was thinking of a solar unit...
I'm new to this forum and wonder if anyone can help me with this.
Went to start the bike yesterday, so I turn the key, it goes through it's self test thing, then I hear a quiet electrical sort of thud, then nothing. No display, nothing.
I've tried disconnecting the battery then...
Does anyone know of a cockpit frame ( for want of a better description ) that will enable mounting the satnav above the clocks behind the screen. Have had a look on t'internet cant seem to find anything for a 700 Alp.

Needed to get the Tom Tom Rider 400 fitted to the Transalp. After reading some of the electrical threads here I decided on the quick and simple 'bolt it to the battery' method for getting power. The **** nav has very low power demand and of course the charger connection has none at all and...
I'm in the progress of buying a new Satnav.
I think I narowed it down to either the Garmin Zumo 390LM or the TomTom Rider V4.
Or are the others out there?
Any drawbacks on any of the two contenders?
Took the AT out today for a bimble around the lanes of Lincolnshire to test the satnav connection out for the Dambusters Run
Had a thoroughly good time but after a couple of hours there was a noticeable grating noise whenever I used the rear brake
Looks like it will need a peak sometime soon...
Off to the shops to buy my satnav, probably Tomtom,
I am an electrophobe, do not like playing with electrics, does my swede in.

Looking for a TomTom GO satnav. Pretty much any model considered but mush have headphone socket and provisions for an SD card
It needn't be a bike specific job so something like a Go 520/30 or Go 720/30 would be ideal.

I have connected my Garmin satnav to the autocom 3.5mm lead and bluetooth my phone to it.I can listen to the Satnav instructions and also music from the Satnav.I can make a phone call through the Satnav and talk through the Helmet mic but i cannot hear the person talking back to me.
