A lovely 650 on an 02 plate with all the luggage and a strange oiler (not Scott). Am a little alarmed at the seating position tho. I think i will be forming a squeeky voice and a sorebum in no time! Are there resolutions to this issue?

Found some damage on my new rear wheel and central wheels are insisting that the damage was caused by the spoke key and can't be helpled due to the angle of the spokes.
My concern is that the rims are now susceptible to corrosion where the anodisation seal has been broken as the metal...
Just wondering if anyone knows where I can run a vacuum line to operate a scottoiler on an RD07. Can't see any vacuum hoses off the carbs but there may be a plug on the carb housing that I could connect a nipple and line to the unit?
OK team. Bought Steves old xr600. Been sat in she'd for 6 years. Got it running but bogs down when giving it full throttle. Had the carb ultrasonically cleaned and checked jets are clear. 155. Main so it looks like Scott Summers mods done. Used to run nice and clean. Stator is showing 87 ohms. I...

Hi all, anyone got any experience of an early F650 (Funduro) I know Chris Scott didn't poo poo them too much, and I know it has a smaller front wheel! but they are pretty cheap these days:thumb: and seem to be aging pretty well (better than me) so c'mon hit me with your comments and experiences
Hi all. Can anyone tell me where i can get a replacement visor for a scott assault gambler silver helmet. Iv looked everywhere but they dont make the helmet anymore so there hard to come by.

During the recent cold weather I had to increase the flow from minimum as oil stopped flowing.
While this has worked I noticed that it is only oiling the links of the side where the nib is situated and not all of the chain as before. The nib is still in the correct postion slightly above the...
Bon-Scott died 30 years ago today (self inflicted).
Admittedly, I didn't hear of him till maybe 5 or 6 years later, but I'd rate him as one of the great rock singers, way above Brian Johnson's grating yells.
If I had access to U-Tube at work, I'd put a link up for 'Ride On', for his melodic...
Anyone heard of them, know their reputation?

Anyone any idea where I can get hold of a pair of:-
Scott 89 X LS Goggles. I particularly like these because of the light sensitive lenses, but anything similar I guess would work just as well.
Have tried Helmets 4U / M&P / Get Geared / Busters...
Have any of you used the suggested jetting that's in Scott Summers 10 tips for XR 600's, 68 pilot, 155 main and mixture screw 2 1/2 turns out, with free flow exhaust and free flow filter.
Just wondering if it works well, also no mention of the needle postion, is this just left as std.
I'm planning to go to the Scott on Saturday 18th. I've never been before so if anyone has any pointers they would be appreciated.
I'd like to know what's best:
travel around to different sections?
where are the sections - are they easy to find/follow/arrows?
best section for spectators...
