Basically it starts runs and accelerates fine but out on the open...
Quick version without the waffle:
If you have fitted a Hagon shock to an RD04, what do you think of the performance? Is it okay offroad (I've heard stories about failures)? Should I just get an original shock rebuilt and reconditioned and, if so, where? Maxton? ABE?
Long version with all...
After clearing out my garage I found a couple of ½ full tins of engine oil. Mixed together I will have enough for an oil change.
They are from different manufactures but are both 10w40 synthetic.
They’ve been sat in the garage for probably 10-15 years but I wouldn’t have thought oil has a...

New boy in town - swapped my BMW K100 (plus a bit of cash) for a 94 Dommie (gay Turquoise, but I'm sure of my sexuality so I don't care).
Rode it the 50+ miles home from Aberdeen (avoiding the dual carriageway) and walked in with a huge :D on my face - something that's been sadly missing with...
Any of you out there suffer from impulse buying we all know you ladies do so you might be able to shed some light on my problem. two weeks ago i was changing the oil in my 321 gas gas and noticed the filler plug had started to round off so went to the local bike shop to get a new one, they didnt...
Please don't flame me about doing a search... I swear I waded through pages of babble and found nothing.....
Does anyone know of a big brake conversion for the front of the AT.... It would be nice to update the performance and looks of the front brakes by putting some serious stoppers on...
My Tripmaster is looking very old, the plastic yellowing and I can see small horizontal cracks appearing, also the clear coat over the lettering is peeling from the buttons outwards.

I have been using a product called 'ear putty', works better than any off the shelf foam ear plugs.
The trouble is the container & plugs fell out of my pocket & I cannot for the life of me remember the maker.
They were purchased from the BMF last year from a firm who makes the custom ear...

This might sound a little stupid, but I need a bit of advice...
I've been trying to mount a set of Acerbis handlebar guards and I need to remove the anti vibration weights at the end of the bars.
They come off by simply removing a screw, but the insert inside the bar will not come out.
Found a small but nonetheless disturbing oil leak from my rear valve cover, while installing the Scottoiler vacuum line, are these type of gaskets readily available in UK, off the shelf? If so where can find them? If not, can they be ordered?
I presume it will be a tank-off...

Thanks DaveS for the facet fuel pump, that is a nice spare for the shelf.
Just wondering about this: I was having a look around at the local motorcylce shop, and saw a shelf full of fuel additives.
one to clean the carbs, one to dissolve the oil particles, one to remove burnt bits etc... :?:
My question, I'm having trouble to believe all these "wonder" liquids...
