  1. Great Roads/Routes
I may be going to have a couple of days in the Alps in September, on my way back from Croatia. I'm definitely considering taking in the Stelvio, as I've never done it. But I know there are a million brilliant roads in the Alps, so what are the other tarmac coated passes I shouldn't miss out on...
  2. Dominator / FMX
As above, somebody asked me if they will go... I said yes. But, a quick search reveals the wheel offset is different.. But that shouldn't affect the forks... Are there any other differences? Calliper mount maybe?

I'm off to Budapest later this week for a few days. Apart from the hot springs are there any other "must see" things that we shouldn't miss?

  9. Wheels, Tyres & Tubes
I've just bought a KTM 450 EXC and the chap said that the tyres had mousse in. I think I also read somewhere that you shouldn't use (even illegal) tyres with mousse in on the road. So what's the deal and what pressures do you run? Do you have to check them as regularly?

Halo (after long time) :D A strange thing is happening on my front brakes. At very slow speed,(walk) or right before i stop the bike, front brake starts to vibrate in high frekvency (not like disc is bended - bent?). You can hear RRRRRRRRR and whole bike vibrates. Its like friction is doing it...

After servicing (not by me, but an independent bloke who's pretty good) my RD07 has started using about 10% more fuel. I used to get about 200 miles to reserver, now it's down to 180. That's two tank fulls now; and the amount I put in confirms it's dropped from about 48mpg to 43mpg. At the...

Planning on changing semi synth for 100% synthetic oil eg Motul 7100 4T bike oil in a TA. If any members have made the switch I would appreciate comments particularly if there is any tendency to sludge when the new 100% synth mixes with traces of the old semi synth. Also if any clutch slip...

I thought I would write this while it was fresh in my mind. Just 30 minutes ago a man died while I was holding his hand. A fellow motorcyclist who probably just misjudged his entry speed into the first corner on the town side of Suikerbossie hill. This little misjudgement cost him his life. He...

Anyone ever heard of this bizzare electrical gremlin? Every time I pull in the clutch lever, the neutral light comes on. It also works when the light is in neutral. Nothing else seems affected. It all started after I replaced slow dying fuse on starter relay. But this shouldnt affect neutral...
