Ahem... some time ago I posted a thread regarding a fault on my AT whereby the bike would cut out intermittently... sometimes refusing to go into gear without stalling. Those of you kind enough to respond with suggestions may like to hear how this baffling puzzle was resolved. Africa Twins have...

I originally bought my Airhawk for the Africa Twin, but just as I ordered it I decided to change to a BMW GS so my Airhawk has been installed on my BMW 1150GS for the last few years. So what's it like..... well it's outstanding. In my opinion of course. I'm well aware that no everyone get's on...

Is it just me but having a car with Auto braking and collision warning on isn’t a safety feature for other road users it's an excuse to let incompetent and dangerous drivers onto the roads? Let’s face it if the car is supposed to stop you hitting things they will be less likely to do the obvious...

Can anyone suggest what pannier frames are best for offering protection to rear sides/panels of the AT .In the event of a slow speed drop or even a static drop something would be better than nothing to offer some protection. Any ideas please !!!!

I'm about to put my sprocket back on the bike, but not sure if when I got it it was mounted the right way (luckily it had only just been replaced before I bought the bike and I'd only taken a couple of shortish journeys before taking the bike to bits for a clean up and my shaft seems OK)...

Reading through some other threads this evening I was reminded of a red mist incident in Calais while proceeding through the Chunnel terminal. Mrs Gromit and I had checked in and were riding our TA and AT in train boarding mode (i.e. gloves in top box, helmet strapped to luggage, passport and...

On Sunday I was tidying the garage and a screen fell on my head (it had been stored in the roof since I sold my 1200GS). Fortunately it was bubble-wrapped but it got me thinking..........the screen on a 1200GS isn't particularly big but it offers good protection, and now the weather's getting...

Do you ever get the impression that dealers take you for a fool? I ordered a new sidestand from a certain Honda dealer in the W4 area, and went to collect this morning. They come out with the bolts I needed, and a right hand side footpeg. Naturally, I stare blankly at the salesfool for a...

Some of you may know I've jacked-up the TA, the last job is to somehow extend the sidestand. The bike currently lives on a 90mm block of wood (I could strap it on the back rack and take it everywhere), but I'm looking at chopping the sidestand foot off, welding a M10 or M12 bolt to the foot...
