The exhaust headers on the transalp, are a sight for sore eyes. Surface rust galore!
I've been considering heat wrapping the headers, which I've done previously on car exhaust manifolds.
If I was to heat wrap the bike exhaust, with it being open to the elements, if it gets soaked from rain...

got a bit of a corroded one here that requires a new paint job.
side casings are getting partly polished and painted matt black.

On my XL600VV there is 2 vacuum pipe attachments on the fuel tap.
The one forward to the front wheel is the correct one to attach the vacuum pipe to, correct?
If so, is the other one left open? Looks strange and there is a hissing coming from it when it is ticking over..
Seems not correct...
Going to try and replace my carbs on my AT due to broken and lodged choke plunger on left side but no luck with ebay except for ones for a '90 and a 2001 model. Anyone know if either of those are the same as a '97 or know where I might source one?

If it doesn't hurt the horse then why limit the number of times you can whip it?

Some on TV this morning saying its the noise or the sight of the whip being swung but if that was the case...

....when your beloved @ is on the flatbed of a recovery truck. Bloody clutch cable separated this afternoon while I was downtown running errands. Think the Blue Twinkey is p*ssed off at me for leaving it in the shed for 2 weeks(been away on business). £68 to get it back home. Ouch. Now it's back...
