I've got a tricky question. I was hoping someone here would have some experience or insight.
I went for a job at a workshop. The boss was keen to hire me but he said he'd put me on a trial for a few weeks to see how I got on. He told me to bring in my tools and do a couple of days a week in the...
I seek advice from people with experience with the MRA varioscreen V (new full screen) and the MRA vario touring (clip on top of old screen) part. I suffer from high windnoise on higher speeds.
Been looking for reviews and comparisons, but not alot to find. I'm 6 foot 2 inches high.
I like the...
I recently remove the tank, airbox and carburators to change the main jets after changing to a more open exhaust. Know putting everything back I have a small problem...
There is several fuel overflow or drain lines connected together to one main line that dumps excess fuel it...
hey guys, just bought my Conti TKC80 yesterday. I will fit them on Honda FMX650 supermoto. They are 40/60 road/offroad. I chose them, because I want to take my FMX to the gravelroads, fields, etc, but I live in city, and also need to drive on asphalt. Also only those tyres had 120 and 150 widths...
A set of Givi (I think!) crash bars that fit all 600 Transalps (according to EBay sellers)
They are used and have scratches and a small dent (filled)
They have been given a coat of black paint to preserve them.
They were removed from a 1992 TA (pictured) as I am making a naked TA.
Really hoping one of you knowledgeable folk on here can help as I'm having issues with the bike popping on tickover (tickover problems seem common for the nx650 by the looks of things). Sometimes the revs will hang high after small throttle input and other times the revs will drop and die but on...
Hello, I am wondering which tyres others use that would give good onroad and offroad performance.
I apologize that I cant tell you what's on her now as i didn't look when i bought her recently though they are road tyres....
I did a small spin up a forest track last week and was quite impressed...

I wanted to restore the white paint for the dashboard light controls (Fuel, High-Beam...) of my RD03 (and I would not mind to do the same for the RD07).
I thought my patience would have been enough but I found out the characters are too small for free painting, even with the thinnest...
XRV750 September 2002, 60k milage, MOT til Feb 2020
Bike is in Welham Green, near Hatfield Hertfordshire, just north of South Mimms Services on the M25.
Bodywork not bad, no broken tabs or cracks. Tank is good, some small chips around the filler. There must be some marks, after all, the bike is...
600 Alp - Loaded test run
Well, after over 400 miles since yesterday morning, I think I can safely say that the 21 year old Alp is fairly sorted. Took a 120 mile run over to the Red Squirrel camp site at Glencoe Saturday morning and met up with a fellow Alp rider.
Red Squirrel camp site...
During our move a box has been misplaced :(
Now I have time, space and money to start this rebuild.
A lot of xrv rd04 have been broken for parts but no one seams to keep the little things !
Pricing these small items new, very expensive.
Had a bit of a nightmare yesterday after installing new pistons reassembling the heads and getting the engine back in the frame quite nicely disaster struck. When torquing down the small 6mm bolt in the cylinder head it snapped like a bit of cheese. As usual this was the last bolt.
To fit a...
I’ve had a number of bikes, big, small etc and I’ve never had a bike as hard to put on the main stand as the 700.
ive strained my shoulder.
strained my foot.
Airhead Beamers, heavier bikes... easier.
sports bikes with main stands.... easier.
650 Trannie..... don’t remember this being hard...
Yes I know this has been done to death and quite frankly it’s different for each rider and also dependant on things like jacket worn, snood type etc, but....
Has anyone tried this:
Help needed please!!!... ;-)
I've spent 5 years off and on trying to get an old 1996 Dommie working that I got off eBay.
I soon realised that the original engine was fried, low compression, sludge oil, so replaced it with a 2005 FMX engine.
Removed and blanked off the emission system.
I purchased a 1976 XL 250 recently, and it came with two engines, neither of them complete. I've been working on the 1972 engine, as it is in better and more complete condition. It was missing some covers, such as the valve adjustment covers and the alternator cover. I'm currently...

My 600 Transalp's been stolen
Just stepped out to go to work and found my 600 Transalp's been stolen.
Orangey/red all over, Laser pipe, E-07 tyres, screen has small cutaway for master cylinder, mirror mount epoxied, Oxford tailbag.
I have discovered that one of the above items has a small tear in it, so I intend replacing both.
I cannot seem to find a supplier, Honda Part no; 16111-MY1-000 states that it covers up to year 2000, mine is 2001.
Any ideas as to suppliers of new genuine replacements?
