I have a 97 varaint with rear indicators that are fouling on my pannier rack I could do with smaller ones.
I see there are two available here https://www.wemoto.com/bikes/honda/xl_600_vv_transalp/97
One is an alternative?
Its been a while since I dissassembled my clutch, and now I'm not 100% sure how to put it back together.
Number 7 on this, is a V-shaped ring. But I can't see which direction is has to be pointed.
in this scetch, should the SMALLER diameter of the ring be pointing towards the left of...
I am reassembling a 1975 tl250 and the holes for dowels that retain the crank bearings are different on
the cam drive side is much smaller than the clutch side.
the standard dowel fits the clutch side but not the cam drive side
the parts book shows both the same part number
Whats the overall opinion now on the crf250l? Its been out a while....
Is it reliable and easy to work on?
What about travelling on it with full luggage as this is what id be doing..

Does anyone in dommieland know the part number of the two smaller wheel wheel bearings on the back wheel.

I am getting round to sorting the oil leak. Defo on the stator side and most likely that gasket but while I am there I will do all seals/gaskets at the same time - as far as I can tell, there is the main gasket - 11395MM1000 and a smaller one for the timing cover and a few o ring type seals...
I need to find a working front brake caliper and bracket from a SLR 650 as I am fitting the smaller front wheel onto my 94 Dominator.
PM me if you have one for sale and are prepared to post it to Denmark.
I have just bought a used rear wheel for my rd04 and it's not the one I need.
The rim is slightly narrower and the hub is different.
It has a 130 80 17 on it.
Also a smaller rear disc.
I have just paid £120 for it,but i'll take £100 for a quick sale.
Can anyone please help? Due to being short in the leg, I am thinking of fitting a 19" or even 17" front wheel in place of the 21" front wheel that is standard. Would this affect both the speedo and/or mileometer readings? If this occurs how do I solve the problem i.e. different speedo drive...
I've recently purchased an XR650L (please note 'L' model) which has a 38 litre fuel tank for desert trips. I want to put on a smaller tank for green-lane work here in the UK.
Can a standard XR650R or XR600 tank fit my 650L?
Any ideas on which tank would fit would be much appreciated...

My newly acquired Transalp needs a chain and sprox set.
It's still on the original sprockets, dunno about the chain, but it has a Scottoiler so I reckon the chain may be original.
21k on it, so not beyond the realms of possibility, my VFR still has its original chain at 17k (with Scottoiler)...
