Together with my friend last Friday we tried to cross the border from Italy to France, through a 2.700 m. pass.
The aim was to have a good lunch in France but ufortunately we couldn't manage because of the ice, but the view was superb so we didn't spoil the day.
A couple of pictures...
with no snow and a sunny warm week since a high of 24C on Easter Sunday, I thought it would be good to take the bike for my 20 mile commute to work this fine spring Morning:-
So new RHS rad fitted, fresh coolant, and a rub down with an oily rag and left ready on the drive :-
woke to -1C
Had a brilliant ride out today considering the weather would have taken more pics but cold on hands but we made it out with Paul S on his first outing with his Suzuki drz 400 Austin , Foz1969 and myself at Dunsop Bridge all over Bowland and ended up at Settle. Just made it back before Snow lol
After weeks of snow and ice on our road, today we finally managed to get out for a run !
First time since the new exhaust was fitted (and all the other bits) and I must say the bike did seem a lot more responsive even two up.
Anyway we ended up in Pennan on the NE Corner of Scotland, for those...

Does anyone on here know if a front brake caliper from a standard RD 02 dommie or a SLR650 will fit onto USD forks from a 2006 CRF250R?
I dont fancy digging through the snow right now to get to my bike to measure them :rolleyes::rolleyes:
Christmas is close, so too is the snow! Just spotted these on Ebay!

Nice stocking filler for some one!!
Went out for a play today it poured with rain and with the snow melting as well I haven't seen the rivers and streams come up so quickly, a lot of the tracks were also runing with water like small rivers as well.
Not the best pic in the world but the stream behind the bikes is usually around...
Bought a '99 Dommie from Glasgow last month, rode it home to Yorkshire in the snow, washed it, and tucked it away to wait for less salty roads! Already planning the tinkering phase of ownership.... so, does anyone know if the Arrow 2-1 silencer sold by motorcycleraceparts.co.uk will fit...
What's the weather (and more importantly the ground) like just now?
I'm coming down on Thursday to do the BMW off road skills doo dah and I'm just hoping it's not knee deep in show. While snow is fun it's a bit limiting in what you can actually do off road.
Ok all in scotty land ,time yet again to batten down the hatches , get those knobbles on cos it's gonna snow again.
Up to a foot of snow predicted and strong winds equals big drifts .
Hope someone up there takes pics of their snowy treks.
Be careful out there.
