In June this year I am finally going on a solo motorcycle trip to Norway now I am all sorted as far as the bike, kit and luggage preparation but I have never been to any of the Scandinavian countries yet using any form of transport.
I am planning on camping during the trip to keep the costs...
I am looking for someone to make a one off custom solo seat for my dommie special.
If I provide the seat base dimensions , I will be needing someone to upholster it and ship it to Denmark.
Any suggestions chaps as this is above my skill set and I want a propper job doing for my flat tracker...
Anyone ever used one or knows someone which has?I know they are big in pack size but that is not a worry as i am going solo. Just wondered if anyone has used them in earnest as in proper cold?

I'm staying at my brother's near Torrevieja and have the idea of going to Gibraltar (cos it's there & haven't been before) following the coast road as much as possible. Returning inland via Ubrique, Ronda, thro Sierra Nevada. It's roughly 850 miles, in old money, which I'm allowing 4 days with...
How would a XL 250 Degree trail bike cope with a 12 stone rider plus tent soft paniers and the like. I would want to use it for solo lightweight camping/trail riding but covering any distance I need to. Also are parts readily available including farkles.

I'm hoping to get away for a few days at the end of Apr, and thought I might check out the Galloway forest area. I've not been there before, so if anyone can recommend some roads (or very light tracks - will be solo on a Vara so don't want to risk an off!), i'd be really grateful. Thanks in advance.
I'm starting to think about a solo tour later in the year throughout parts of Europe, to go and see my sister in Bavaria. It'll be my first proper long distance (eurpoean) tour on the 'dero (2006 XL1000V), so does anyone have any advice for me? Things that are likely to go wrong, what...
Dont go trail riding SOLO. WISE WORDS. Plenty of people have told me, and even common sense tells me not to. But I love it...so I go. Except that today was my last time going solo.
Went for 1/2 day trail riding round the Llangollen area. Great time. Some fantastic trails (will do a proper...
Went for a local rideout today - just me and the bike around Dartmoor and a walk to Wistmans Wood.
Weather was dull and a bit nippy so I put on some extra layers.

I had a couple of hours spare on Sunday morning so decided to take the scenic route to Arkengarthdale over the Stang forest and return via Reeth and Richmond. 60 miles in just under 2 hours only stopping for a few piccys.
The day got even better when I realised the MotoGP was on just as I...
That is why I bought it, i heard it was reliable and parts could be found anywhere. Now im starting to think about it. Im going on a trip this year and most likely alone, from Portugal-Italy-Germany etc.. and in many places I rode last year were completly isolated, no houses could be seen for...
