Anyone taken the oil strainer out of the bottom of their frame? Tried removing it yesterday, so i could check it, and get frame ready for powder coat, but could not get it to undo. Tried interlocking two spanners to get a higher torque, but still no joy. Any tips on removal???

Hi All, My TA is just approaching 20,000 miles and the service book is a bit sketchy. Its a 04 plate, 650. I got it with 18,000 miles on it almost a year ago and I'm guessing its time to get the spanners out. The oil is still cleanish, but I think ill change it anyway, and I had a look at the...

Just finished fitting silencer. I got all the tools out, I thought I might need, including a blow torch and hammer. But only needed sockets and spanners and some elbow grease. Did not even need exhaust paste. Which is good because I want to remove the big chamber from the front pipes in the...

Recently replaced youngest sons squashed TDM900 with a 650 Deauville, which is minus it's tool kit. The general stuff - spanners, screwdrivers etc, can and have been cobbled together into an ad-hoc tool kit, but the all important Honda spark plug spanner is most defo required - only managed to...

I'm in the market for a new chain tool. My cheapest possible Wemoto one broke a cou[ple of years ago, and I seem to have enough issue with chains to warrant one! Any recomendations out there? It needs to be able to break and rivet chains, but be small/light enough to carry with my kit and not...
