Hi Guys I'm back. I've spent the last 4+ years in Australia without my RD07 and now looking to get it back on the road (or off it) so I just wondered who is still about and still has their Africa twin who remembers me?
I just bought myself an 8GB MP3 player and just spent the afternoon filling it up with my favourite tunes.:D:D:D

The weather was a bit changeable but we had a reet good ride out
and seals for my brakes - spent today cleaning out the new ones - nice and sparkly (going matt black soon) and I need everything - pistons, seals, both internal and external. Looked at Wemoto and ebay, anywhere else?
How far South do the they grit the roads with salt in Southern Europe ? I've spent an awful lot of time in winter Europe over the years,but can't for the life of me remember how far south you need to be before the salt stops! ......... Anyone? :)

Got my Transalp back from DBC motorcycles in dunstable today and would like to say i am very happy with their work, cost £687 :( but i did get a set of Tourance tyres a chain and sprocket set, oil and oil and air filters,F and R brake pads and they valeted it for me.

I have had my Africa Twin for exactly 1 year now, i bought it off Ebay for £1600 she is the RD04. I have been riding bikes continuosly since 1978 and in that time i have owned 34 bikes, also raced for nearly 10 years.
My bike came with a full set of Krauser luggage, Motad crash bars, new rims...
