I can only find them in the states and the price...
Unfortunately I'm considering selling my Africa Twin, and would like some ideas of what it might be worth. It's a UK bike (from Hunts in Manchester) and I've had it from new, but it now has 55k miles on it. It's been to some interesting places, but still runs sweetly and starts first time every...

I'm thinking of buying either the crampbuster or the scottoiler equivalent for my dad as a gift, especially as we will shortly be doing a stack of miles to and in Poland.
So firstly, do they actually work?
Any downsides to them (especially safety issues)?
Is there is a performance difference...
I need to pick up a replacement battery asap and I've never bought one before. Surprisingly, the local Halfords have a stack of them. Any idea which, if any, of these I can go for? Any help would be appreciated.
A year after selling my Varadero, (now being cared for by Italy1), I had a hankering for another and stumbled across my first one that I sold 3 years ago, now with 31,000 miles on with a full service history and a stack of bills to prove the only other owner looked after it well.
I'm not talking part numbers:
I mean what would be the internationally recognised code number and type for 1993 TA 600 Head race bearings?
There are a stack of bearing stockists here and they are cheaper than going Wemoto + P&P or, worse still, buying from Honda.
Mine need replacing, and I...
The sun is shining, the wind is light, perfect for the first ride out of the year. I can feel even feel the warmth on my face. Trouble is - it's from the flare stack - aaaarrrrgh! The frustration.......

I wanted to lose my offroad cherry on the DRZ and i think its fair to say the cherry is now, erm, consumed.
Possibly due to my dual sport tyres I found myself doing better on steep, loose boulders than on anything muddy, grassy or rutted. The first stack was on...
Just got back from a 4 hr bimble into Derbyshire on the 'Alp and got off with a sore arse, again! Even with the Airhawk seat, I do struggle these days, possibly my being a bit more lardy than a few years ago...

Just read this from Sam Manicom on the UKGSer forum. I'm sure we'd be welcome too. How about a meet up?
But onwards, the reason I’m posting now, for those of you who couldn’t make it to Lumb Farm, is that I would like to invite UKGSers to come to the Ace Cafe on November the 1st from 2-7pm...

Here I am with my trusty Varadero packed and...
