I have just bought a 05 xr125l it does however need a new carb. I have found carbs that will fit and work but none seem to have the heater like the stock one fitted. If I got a
standard carb with no heater will it run ok or so I need one with the carb heater.
thank you :)
My current sprocket setup is -1 front and +3 in the rear. I like this, but I'd like to get better mileage on the road and I want an OEM 16T front for reduced wear on the shaft. Thinking of changing my chain and go to just +1 in the rear or should I go with the stock 46 tooth rear sprocket?
I need a rear wheel rim as mine is getting past its sell by date .... ideally stock or gold and second hand im running stainless spokes and i will get the hubs blasted and coated again.
I was going to get one of a chap here but TBH i messed him about a bit as i left the mrs after 20 odd years...
Looking for a stock seat for my '02 reg RD07a for Tony Archer to work his magic on. I'm not too bothered about the state of the upholstery and foams, but the seat base must be usable.
Thanks for your attention,
I stupidly ordered a Cyclops H4 LED bulb (with rectifier/regulator) for my US model XR400 headlight and of course I can't mount it in the stock light assembly. Is there another XR headlight assembly (AU version?) that will accept H4 bulbs or an aftermarket option? Thanks!
Here's the bulb...
Is there any clutch cable that has the same ends as the stock cable but longer to fit a RD03?
I herd that the RD07 might be the same but longer ?

Hello, I'm fitting Wirth progressive fork springs to a 2006 Transalp and wanted to know if I should discard the washers which are acting as spacers when I fit the new springs. I believe the Transalp didn't have spacers installed from stock? The bike is second hand and this is the first time I've...
I'm trying to find a replacement set of steering head bearings for my 700 Transalp. Preferably looking to replace the stock bearings with roller bearings. Don't suppose anyone knows where I should be looking? I've had a go at googling it but I can't find the specs for the standard bearings to...
The picture of the Excel wheels (off RuggedRoads' website) shows the dimples are undrilled. Maybe it is a generic image. Those who bought their Excel wheels from them, did they come pre-drilled or not? Also, if they comre pre-drilled, was it for the stock nipples of for oversized nipples for...
dunno if this works on all bikes.. but I had it on my R1200 GSA, for connecting from the head-stock power connection to the cradle of my Garmin Zumo

Hi all , I'm having electrical gremlins with my 2000 XRV750. The bike had an alarm system that was disabled prior to my purchase but I think some vestiges of that system remain. Can anyone identify if the photo above is a stock component?

I was thinking of finding an used shock absorber that fits in the frame and linkage of the transalp 600, an rebuild it.
It's annoying that the stock damper it's not serviceable, as in change the oil like on the front forks. after some use the oil inside it's just water and I don't agree to pay...
