    Hi I have just stripped my transalp down and had the frame, swingarm and wheels powder coated. I will be starting to put it all back together soon. The engine was running 'ok' before I removed it, but while its out what (easy-ish) jobs should I be considering? Its done about 41,000 km Cheers

    Hi have stripped/cleaned my xl600 (1984) twin carbs and can't find a pilot jet .... do some carbs do without these jets.... thanks

    Is the engine used on the PD10 marked as a PD06, I know it sounds odd but have just fully stripped my 1998 PD10 to bare frame and I'm sure I'm the first to do my engine is marked as a PD06? And is the exhaust manifold the same on both a PD06 and PD10?

    Back Ohlins sorted & now onto the forks, ordered a set of intiminators from the states. Whilst they're off they're going to be stripped & re powder coated, question is how much fork oil does the @ take (think it's 5wt with intiminators) & what's the best to get?Also what's the story with fork...

    Hey guys gratings from South Africa, I need some help with a airbox for my RD07, stripped my AT down and put all parts in safe place till motor was redone. Now the complete airbox has gone missing! Anyone know where I can get one shipped to out Africa! Awesome forum you guys have here.

    Took off exhaust pipes to clean and polish them and to change valve cover gaskets which are leaking. Why not to check starter while everything is stripped I thought and here is why I saw :tard:

    Hello folks I'm after a cheap/free RD04 engine and am happy to consider one with a stripped output shaft or other issues. If you have an RD07/a one, I might also consider this, but I'm happy to hang around for an RD04 one as there's absolutely no rush. I don't need any of the ancillaries...

    OK, so I've removed the head off my Xr250 and so far I can't see anything that would cause a knocking noise. The head is A1 (apart from the stripped spark plug thread), the camshaft and followers look as good as new, the valves seem to be fine open/close ok and the cam chain seems ok. What...
