I have a pair of Transalp 600 fork legs going for free (just pay the postage or collect from Sheffield)
They have the mudguard studs stuck in the threads and one has been drilled through at some point, The internals and upper legs are all fine

Right, here's one of those that doesnt crop up too often. Decided to stick with the Honda forks so having a service, new seals, oil, springs, Intiminators , shot blast & new enamel. But one of the four fork studs are snapped & Mr Honda doesn't give a part number anyone had to change one??

Now two of the exhaust studs have broken off leaving about 1cm clear of the head - actually everything exposed beyond the nut just crumbled away at the slightest touch.
Not sure what to do next as there is not enough clear to even contemplate...
Hi all I am trying to change the front pads on my AT but cannot shift the flat head studs that hold in the pads, I don't want to cause any damage, i have tried WD40 and even a little gentle heat, any ideas?

Hi Everyone, i was trying to remove my luggage rack on my bike yesterday but i managed to snap 3 out of 4 studs that hold it in place.
Does anyone know a way to repair these? It looks like they are moulded as part of the rack.
If not does anyone have a spare one kicking around?
Bought a 600. From the side panels the studs are gone. is there any metal suds available. I am not interested in having it all beautiful.. Getting them repaired in a cheap and reliable way is my thing.
the studs sometimes break off when removing the side panels, or if you have a fall. you can reconstruct them using expoxy putty (stuff you buy from b&q or car spares shop in a small tube, looks a bit likes swiss roll, you cut off what you need, and squash in your hand which mixes teh two parts...
