600 Alp - Loaded test run
Well, after over 400 miles since yesterday morning, I think I can safely say that the 21 year old Alp is fairly sorted. Took a 120 mile run over to the Red Squirrel camp site at Glencoe Saturday morning and met up with a fellow Alp rider.

I have a 2001 XLR125RW and I've tried to find a manual with no success. I've got the bike running but its not starting up well and the tappits sound noisy.
Does anyone know the valve clearances for this bike? And the spark plug gap?

Im having my valve stem seals changed on sunday by a friend who works at honda but hasnot done any on the engine before i was just wondering if anybody had tips for doing it. Also would it be better to have the engine out the bike or is ok in the frame
