Or if someone can tell me if the 650 and the 750 has the same parts in the suspension linkage.
Best for the future would of cause to have the part list.

Hi, please can someone confirm whether I adjust the rear suspension spring length on the side stand or on the centre stand? On my 2001 model the haynes manual states a spring length of 242.7 mm.
Looking for wheels, body panels, suspension mainly. But any parts anyone wants to get rid of will consider. I can generally travel most places but I am based in beverley, East yorkshire.
Pm me, or reply here
On striping down my 1987 600's rear suspension I noticed only one of the three metal inserts in the rubber bushes will rotate (the one with the grease nipple) is this correct or should all three rotate ?
Hi, I have just added an xl125 to my collection, it's just for the field but I don't know what year it is. It has prolink suspension, a red frame, points ignition,6 volt battery and very little else except the essentials. Any rough ideas as to it's age?
hi all does anyone know if the suspension linkage can be flipped upside down to give the slr a bit more lift ?

So wanting to clean and service the rear suspension.
Suspension unit off.
Got the nuts off the linkage bolts.
The bolts now turn freely but will not come out.
The ones in the underneath of the swingarm and the one to the lower frame upright in particular.
Is it large hammer time and drift them...
I'm in the process of renewing one of the bearings in the suspension linkage of my 2002 RD07A as it was a MoT failure. But I was wondering if it was possible to convert the loose needle bearings to sealed caged bearings.
Has anyone done this? Is it worthwhile? What are the benefits?
I have a 1990 Transalp 600 and I want to make the suspension softer, especially the front, as it bottoms out on speed humps, even at quite low speed. (My previous 600 transalp didn't have this problem. I dont if the previous owner of my current bike had "Stiffened" the suspension up)
Has anyone done the 6 shim mod to their front suspension to make the forks smoother, I see in the USA they really seem to think it's a fantastic mod just wondering if anyone had done it over here and what pros and cons they found?
Whilst the shock is off for a service and respringing session, I took off the linkage. The bearings seem OK but I'd like to give them a through clean. The old grease has gone a bit congealed and some roll less freely than the others. Is it possible to pop the rollers out without removing...
I lowered the suspension 1.25" on my 2008 xL1000v varadero and now the side stand holds the bike almost vertical. Have heard the sport bike side stand has worked, but can find no details as to which one. Has anyone out there had any experience with this? Or should i just find a welder and...
Those 'bone' shaped raising lowering links.
Does anyone know the length of each?
I'm trying to decide which is fitted to my DR350....I've a set of raisers (apparently) that Whealie bought that are the same length as those on there.
Enforced 3 or more days off so having a look at it.
If my rear suspension is "tired" - how much of that is due to the:
wear and tear
My point being is that I could get it rebuilt, fit a new spring, leave it (would it improve that much) or replace it. Basically it works. How well? Dunno.:blob8:
I need an advice about front suspension..
I have showa front forks already fitted on my AT and I need to have them resprung and revalved for this heavier bike, but
I don't know where is any good service for suspension in Scotland...Any ideas?
Thank you very much for any suggestions ;)
