Thought I would write up my little 8 day jaunt around Europe. (apologies for the upside down pictures, I have no idea how to correct them!) The start of the plan was to incorporate a few battlefields with a visit to the Izi meeting (Izi meeting) which I have been meaning to go to for a few...

  11. Transalp
Does anyone here have any recommendations for a decent map holder to fit the TA700 tank? I used a magnetic tank bag on my old bike but the plastic tank covers has ruined that. Tried a tank ring tank bag but the fuel cap is too far forward on the TA for this to work with anything of a decent...

I'm considering ways to store a bit more weight further forward on the bike (RD07). Let me know if you have any of the following for sale: - Front rack (above/below headlight) - Modified sump guard with storage for tools etc - hard or soft tank panniers - soft tank bag (~15l minimum) Matt.
  13. Transalp
I've not picked up the Transalp yet so can't do the obvious test but what is the petrol tank made of? Steel, Aluminium? I have an Oxford tank bag which is held on with magnets so wondering if it will still be of any use :) Nige
  14. Transalp
This is probably idiotic....but the alp seems much more responsive...more agile without a topbox on the back......is this me imagining things or is there a real reason for this...I would imagine the few kg of an empty topbox should not be felt especially since I have toured with full luggage...
