Hi there as anyone got a mount for the above, money waiting although not much lol :o
Google Image Result for http://www.activegps.co.uk/accessories-spares/garmin-accessories/garmin-zumo-550/garmin-zumo-550-motorcycle-mounting-bracket.jpg
I have managed to dig out my back copies of TBM and found some useful articles in the following issues...
#23-staff machine.
#25-jetting tips
#27-staff machine,clutch,bashplate and exhaust.
#28-John Rushworth-serious XR400 upgrade-motor,tank and wheels.
#33-XR400 Vs. KLX300.
#37-Monnier...
not had a chance to read it yet but the two bikes are ridden off road in the Pyrenees(HUMM i think) good pics and TBM always do "proper" tests on traillies.
TBM's worth a look this month.
There's an article on a lass who flies to the States, buys an '07 XR650, bolts on a load of after market rally gear (Big tank, Africa Queens fairing, leccy start, sat nav, etc, etc......) and does a solo trip.
She discribes it as the 'perfect rally bike'.
and they give it a good(sensible) write-up.
none of this 125mph twitchy steering/windblast tosh!
my typing is too slow and i am too tired to write more but TBM like it for what it is and even say it copes off road.
