    Africa Twin
Hi :) I have an RD04 from 1990 with 67000kms on the clock. The last couple of days I have started to notice a scratching sound from the engine when I pull the clutch and let I roll to a traffic light or something. Everything sounds perfect in neutral and when driving that's why I am worried...

  4. Sluggish clutch

    Africa Twin
I recently bought my first RD04 from 92. I’ve been happy wit it. A couple of weeks ago I went on a longer trip round trip app 400km. 6. Engine temp?

Xl600v Ok after about 1 hr of steady riding my water temp rises, sits at about 80 degrees upon hitting traffic after this it will rise up to 105 degrees then fan comes in and lowers temp. 11. Impressed!!!!!!!!

    Dominator / FMX
Got to say I'm smitten :) Just had my maiden run on my Vigor very impresed. A bit fluffy/hesitant under 2000rpm in traffic but feel it just needs a decent run out. 1500 miles in the last 5 yrs hasn't done it any good. Got a Givi top box, done a service, cleaned her up and thought I'd give her a...

  20. Wide load

At what point would you say panniers are too wide. Had racks made up for the RD04, great workmanship, but, they are 60cm wide. My panniers are big but not that wide, 25cm each, which would then give me an arse like Doris at 110cm. I'll not be doing any filtering with them on so I'm not bothered...
