Anyone out there been on a 2 weekish Himalaya package-Enfieldy type-ride the high roads like trip? Looking at next summer. There are a few companies (HC travel Blazing Trails etc) doing trips and wondered if any recommendations as to where to go (eg Northern India or Nepal) and who to use?
i'm looking to buy a used xr250 or 400 from about 2001-2004. i'll use the bike for light laning and forestry trails and odd trips to work ( 30 mile round trip) . i weigh about 15 1/2 stone and i'm 6 foot tall. just trying to decide which bike would suit me best. any suggestions ?

Hi, finally got round to editing the footage from last April when we were riding in the forests of Gueret (Central France).
The trails are amazing, so much variation in the terrain and hill climbs etc. Just a short clip!

have just shelled out some for a new set of heidenau k60 scouts and HD tubes...have found a couple of bottles of slime in my garage which have never been used. would you guys advise that i pop them into the new tubes after installation (as in prevention) or should i keep them on...
Last weekend. The photo with no bike was looking towards where the trail went, discretion took over and I turned around (was out on my own and I'd thumped the underside a few times already). Is there a way to lift the rear ride height by an inch or two?
