  1. Africa Twin
Yesterday I started on the brake re-build for my RD03. This bike had been sitting for a few years with the brake systems drained and partially disassembled. Problem: How to remove the old crusty brake pistons from the caliper while not destroying them in case they can be cleaned up and...
  2. I'd like to introduce myself....................
Hi everybody, I am new to this forum. Just bought an XRV750rd07a full stock that I am planning to rebuild to a lighter and more offroad capable travel bike. One of the ideas is to install Supersprox sprocket and 520 pitch chain to reduce weight. Anyone any advice or experience having done this.

Hello everyone, I've tried to find some information about how to increase the rear wheel travel on XRV (RD03 and RD04) but I couldn't find anything for all models. Has anyone ever looked into that? Cheers, Norman

  13. Other Bikes
I was at the NEC for Motorcycle Live this week, and whilst the pages of the motorcycling press are plastered with "Adventure Bikes", it was noticeable that there weren't any big trail bikes at the show. If you want to spend £20k on 125+bhp and 250kg of touring bike on long travel suspension then...

I have a bottom end for a XL600R, it the red magnesium casing complete with crank and con-rod. 16. Africa Twin
Firstly- an amusing photo: Despite drilling out the staked part of the clutch retaining nut, I managed to do this to a short length of 20mm round steel bar I'd welded to the dead front sprocket, and braced against the frame. A breaker bar with a short length of scaffold added was sufficient, I...

  19. How to.....
Hi all you AT experts. I'm riding a lot of dirt roads in Australia and really need some help adjusting my Wilbers 640 rear shock as my XRV 750 RD07 is performing very badly on these corrugated dirt roads. I have earlier changed the preload so it is definetly not correctly adjusted now. I really...
