Proud owner of a RD7A
I'm suffering for an excessive oil lose, I fill the reservoir up to the max mark on the dipstick and 200 miles later the oil is half gone
The oil appears to be leaking from one of the overflow tubes whilst parked on the side stand (although this anecdotal...
I was reading a ridiculously long thread on a Harley forum all about front suspension (as one does) and much was said about setting sag, after installing bespoke springs...as far as I'm aware, my 94/5' 600 has the long fork springs installed, ie there are no spacers between the spring tops and...

I just received my new tires and figure I will change tubes as well and keep old ones as spares. Everything I have owned for years has been tubeless except my RD03 which came with new tires/wheels and my KLR650 which I changed eons ago. Want Heavy duty but not sure which brands are best. Any...

Good Day All,
I'm rebuilding an 85 XL350r.
The airbox was a pain to remove but I got it removed. Had the same issue with my 90s CR 250, seems Honda doesn't want us touching
those airboxes. Question: Does the airbox come part? It seems like it's molded together between the 2-carb tubes and...
I am with my front fork in pieces and as i have not one but 2 XR forks , i am thinking what would be the pros and cons. Both are 43mm in diameter.
The XR are cartridge forks, the front will be raised as the tubes are longer. The air buble bigger and in theory the whole dampening will be...
Brand new tubes bought as spares, kept in a cupboard in the garage for a few months but never used. In Transalp 600/650 sizes (AT as well?) - 17" 4.50-5.10 rear and 21" 3.00-3.25 front. See Mefo Sport - Heavy Duty Inner Tubes for more information.
£23 posted for the pair (they're quite heavy...
Where do all you lovely people get your inner tubes from? I've had a look in the usual places I buy my bike stuff from and none of them seem to stock tubes the right size for the TA700 (at least online).

Hello folks, latest project bike had had a rough life to say the least, fork tubes were bent so I had to replace them with new as part of the rebuild. I had thought (hoped) that the yolks would be ok but having had a couple of goes now at getting everything aligned and true I've come to the...
I have the lovely RR Crash bars fiited to my bike, does anyone have any recommendations for bags that would fit above the crash bar extensions?? I'm not looking for anything massive, just big enough for a few tools, spare tubes and a ginsters pasty - :thumbright:
Finally got round to fitting things I bought ages ago
First off tool tubes making sure they didn't interfere with my Givi panniers
Then the Mosfet RegRec (don't know why this has rotated all the others are fine!)
And a Loobman bought this week
Not shown is a Fuzeblock but it's there in...
I'm still slowly rebuilding my bike. Luckily I decided to give the airbox a wipe over with a rag and saw that the tubes have perished and come away from the main body. The one that looks worse, I pulled to make sure I wasn't imagining things. I figured if it's actually fine it won't tear, and...
4 questions for you
1/ what is is
2/what does it do
3/ can I get rid of it
4/how do I remove
I will start with a clue
its mounted left side under the front of the Tank. it has 2 tubes that bolt into the barrel and some more that disappear towards the air box.
Trying to remove the carbs on my 96 600 TA and it's not easy..... I have disconnected all the cables and tubes and unscrewd the clamps. I just get a small play when trying to pull it up.......Anyone removed the carbs and can come With som Magic advice?
Just had some Continental TKC 70 delivered and are tubeless. Is this going to cause a problem? Or can I run tubeless in my RD03 AT or would tubes squeeze in??
