Hello guys, I am Nikola from Bosnia and I am in the process of restoring old AT 650 and the job is nearly done so I've decided to share this with one of the biggest Africa Twin cummunities.
For now I will share with you link to a Serbian moto-forum,BJBIKERS, where I post everything I do on my...
My CRF1000L is now out of warranty so kicking dealer servicing into touch :p
Having just clocked 16000 miles a valve check was due (££££££££).
So I reviewed the Honda Service Manual - pretty poor, watched some YouTube videos and then came across
a fantastic service manual from Marks Motorcycle...
I am in the middle of converting my US-spec Transalp to an Africa Twin RD03. The frame and most parts carry over to both models. I am using all original Africa Twin parts when possible and upgrade parts elsewhere. All parts are being powder coated or refurbished.
In the end...
I was recommended to add a thread as I'm currently having another fad of re-building my Africa Twin. I bought it 5 years ago as a 'project' and proceeded to leave it in the shed for 4 years! Last Christmas I dismantled it in a shed, since then I've moved house and have the space to get my teeth...

I will get a top end engine job done in Malaysia soon. Hopefully just change of pistons rings, but who knows when opening..
My mechanic (Sunny cycle in Kuala Lumpur) says i might also need a slightly bigger piston. He says you can get pistons...

As I have now fitted my Africa Twin (750) with an original carrier the Transalp 650 one that I had fitted is now for sale. The rack itself was not modified but I made some fittings so it would fit the Africa twin as described...

Now that I've moved over to an Africa Twin I have a few Pooratech protection bits for sale.
These were made by myself to go on my Transalp XL700V (ABS).
The parts are all made from stainless steel. They have been on my old bike for about 6 years but still look in good condition. They've not...

Okay, it's a tough decision as I love my Transalp and she's NEVER let me down but I want an Africa Twin and as I can't afford two bikes then she has to go!
So for sale is my trusty Honda Transalp.
This has been my trusty commuter to work and has NEVER let me down. The only time I've had...
NOW SOLD The only reason this is for sale I am selling my Africa Twin RD07a and keeping my RD03. Having been able to try different seats this is has been the most comfortable by far. These are around £600 now to import from America or Europe and rarely come up for sale. The advantage of this...
Just thought i'd introduce myself, currently own a BMW R1150GS, though looking at changing to a Africa Twin XRV 750, I've been hankering after one for a long time now, and have decided to sell my GS (or swap, if you see my thread) and hopefully get one, so beware there wil be plenty of...
Greetings from Denmark.
New to the Forum and to the Africa Twin.
Had the idea (I know it's blasphemy) to convert an XRV 750 1992 to electric motor run by batteries and solar power, to prove that EV is possible with a heavy robust Enduro machine. Bought a nice RD04 in Poland...

(basically what i am looking for is something that is like the Transalp 650, but with a bit more...
