Hi Folks
Got given free, a Rider 1 with 2006 uk maps. Registered on TomTom Home. Went for updates that were advised for my device, and got message saying "not enough room on existing card". Bought 8GB SD card from Teco and the TomTom site does not recoginize my unit.. Am I doing something wrong...
Well this finally arrived last night, and i have day off tomorrow for fitting. First thing I have to say is i have not seen a new shock that looks so well made and put together. I will be letting Paul S give you the technical spec but i will try to do some updates from a Joe blogs point of view...
I'm OK with windows PCs but with me away so much I wanted something small and easy to pack. My other half got an Asus eee netbook for me, unfortunately it has a linux based OS called meego?????
fekkin' sheite, it's also at the point when updates have to be installed, like "flash" to stop this...
Curse or Godsend?? I reckon it falls quite squarely in both camps :D
Far too easy to get sucked in, lying in bed checking what has become too many forums is one fave!
So useful having updates on the move, at least I think it's useful.

My Zumo is nearly 12 months old and I have to admit that I have not updated the speed camera database* from either Garmin or from pocketgpsworld who I used to have and account with to keep my old Navman database up to speed... (sorry!!).
I know that one really needs to keep updated on a monthly...
