I recently bought my first AT RD07. It`s an import from Austria, and I`ve learned that those models are restricted. The restriction in the inlet has been replaced with normal full flow inlet rubber manifolds/isulators by PO.
But what about the camshafts they put in the Austrian models...
Has anyone purchased these polycarbonate head light guards.
Trying to see if there any good before I pick them up. This is the only place I can find selling this version for an RD07a.
Failing that has anyone purchased from this...

Does anyone know how to remove the lower triple clamp from a set of ktm 950 forks? I have the bearings off but the steering tube is stuck solid and my finger cant't take another whack with the lump hammer. Also when I get this off how do I fit the adaptor back in?

I notice that the engine cover is different and of course the head.
Can the magneto/cover and flywheel be made to fit ?
Swap heads and thats about it.

Managed to track down a good condition pair of ktm 950 Adv forks which has literally taken years of checking ebay now and again.
I was wandering if anyone had also started doing a conversion and had any ktm bits laying about.

the red and black wires to attach to the ht lead (tachometer)
surely the red wraps round the ht lead and the black to ground surely?
this is not what i am reading in the download version of the manual...
Has anyone done the 440cc conversion? If so what are the benefits and drawbacks? I am about to start an engine rebuild and wondered if it's worth doing.

I stupidly ordered a Cyclops H4 LED bulb (with rectifier/regulator) for my US model XR400 headlight and of course I can't mount it in the stock light assembly. Is there another XR headlight assembly (AU version?) that will accept H4 bulbs or an aftermarket option? Thanks!

This is my interpretation of a chain oiler.
Initial ideea was a gravity based drip with some sort of auto-off when engine is not running.
Plastic bottle(preferably HDPE to withstand oil in the long run)
1/4 brass barbed connector
6MM gasoline hose
5mm copper brake pipe
