I have a year 2000 RD 07a that has a hairline fissure in the engine case. I am looking for an engine. I just wondered why the engine code states rd04 while the frame is RD07. Are the crank cases the same on both models?
Title says it all really. Looking at my 450X with standard wheel and enduro tyre, there's not a lot of clearance between the tyre and the chain. Thinking about fitting supermoto wheels and wondered if the wider tyres run into chain clearance issues. Anyone done this and can comment?
Has anyone done the 440cc conversion? If so what are the benefits and drawbacks? I am about to start an engine rebuild and wondered if it's worth doing.

I need rubber pads for underside of Top Sellerie comfort seat as all but one have come unstuck.

Just got my first AT and the seat has a gel insert which raises it up to slightly more than what I'm comfortable with at 5'10". Just wondered if anyone wanted to swap for a standard seat or even better a lower seat if there is one. Or I'm willing to buy a lower seat if anyone has one for sale...

The Honda ones are made of butter, and are severely mangled. I don't want to replace them with the same, as they will go the same way.
Getting these undone are the most stressful part of tank removal (close second to the pathetically located petrol tap).

First proper run out today and my running temperature was 75 is same as yours? I ask as ive put some DIY rad covers and wondered if they were making the temp a little high as i can not remeber what the temperature was when i had a few short runs on it without the rad covers on.
I know this has been covered but I'd like to get a whiter bulb for my headlight but I can't seem to find one thats dip and main in one bulb. I may just be looking in the wrong places but just wondered if anyone knew of any. Thanks.:)
