I've quite a bit of work to do this year on my '91 RD04 and I'm wondering where's the best place to buy a workshop manual?
I've seen some for crazy money on eBay...
Anywhere else I should be looking?
Thanks in advance,

Hi there;couple of things (1) I'm changing the fork oil in my 99 FX650 Vigor. The tech data gives the quantity and level but no recommendation for the grade of oil. The bike is only used on the street, so any suggestions please? (2) Bit of a long shot this, but would anybody have an actual...
Im sure this has been done before; can you give me sign posting to instructions for fuel tank removal (and/or workshop manual) as want to send it away to Dream Machine for Rothmans paint job :)
For those amongst you that like to have a tinker in the workshop over the cold winter months, how about making a lamp like this one I found on the interweb.
As soon as I get a bit of spare cash, I think I will make a pair of them for myself and jnr as I have some old pistons lying around.;););)...
I'm about to tighten the nuts holding the exhaust down pipe to the cylinder head on my 2002 RD07A. My Haynes manual tells me that the torque setting should be 27nm (or 20 lbft), which strikes me as a bit high considering that I've just done the same job on my CB1300 and the torque setting there...
Having recently changed bikes, I have a couple of items for an xl700 for sale;-

Hi, I am preparing a '98 XR600R for a two-week rally across Europe. Can anyone recommend a workshop in UK where they are knowledgeable about this particular bike? I have been to experienced enduro/rally shops but, while they're very good with current bikes, they're struggling with mine.
I'd like to get as many RD03 related documents together as possible. I think it would come in helpful as I work my way through the servicing, and I'm big on reading through all of workshop manuals/wiring diagrams.
My RD03 is a French import but I'll take anything I can get. If anyone...
Some wag has cut the line from the left fuel tap and drained my tank of my RD04 Africa Twin. Very nice of them.
I am thinking of taking the bike to my workshop and fixing it there.
Question1, If I turn the left fuel tap off can I run the bike on the right tap or do I need to replace the hose...
I just found a Haynes workshop manual for the 78 to 84 Honda XL/XR 250 and 500 while I was mooching around on my book shelf.
You can have it for free if you want it as long as you send me 500 teabags to Denmark which cost about a fiver and another fiver postage.
Its in great condition...
I have just acquired a 1984 350, its running but I need the following:
Blue fork gaiters, replacement seat cover in blue, yellow race # backgrounds and maybe a headlight.
Also a PDF workshop manual, and parts book.
Could anyone help with useful links and info?
Just wondering if there are any Dominators sitting around looking for a new home? It would have to be a going concern and in good condition as I don't have workshop to put anything too big right.
If you know of any please drop me a PM.
