OK, Mine's a 2006 & I don't need one just yet, but looking at the rust / oxidation on it I wouldn't mind having one for when the inevitable rot happens

Is there any reason a CDI from and SLR wouldn't run in an FX650?
You'd need to chop the FX CDI plug from the loom and wire in the SLR CDI plug. Then the ignition rotor would need to be changed (the FX on has more pips on it).
I'm sure the TPS is the same on both bikes.
The only casualty I think...

Article in this weeks MCN, so not sure if this is a rumour or fact, but looked pretty factual to me.
MCN says that it'll be watercooled, with electic start, but won't share any parts with the CRF, since the CRF engine wouldn't be suitable for a road going machine. Looking at the pictures it...

Quite liked the Tiger, it felt so much more like a sports bike, but I was surprised to find that I was travelling faster round...
